SILVER CREEK SKI PATROL
PATROL WITH US |
 |

Interested in "Patrolling with Us"?
The Silver Creek Ski Areas' volunteer ski patrol is an active and dynamic group. We operate under the umbrella of the National Ski Patrol (NSP) and for the Silver Creek Ski Area specifically. As an organization, we have serviced the area forever (not really it just seems that way). The volunteer patrol maintains the mountain on weekends with the pro patrol maintaining the mountain during the week.
Briefly, Silver Creek Resort is a fun, family ski/year round resort located 78 miles northwest of the Denver metro area in Grand County (about 4 miles south of Granby). The area is small compared to other Colorado mega resorts which, to me, is a large part of it's charm. They also cater to families which is also a plus. Go to the Silver Creek web site to scoop more poop on the area.
Our members are a diverse group of individuals with various reasons for being patrollers. I think that for the most part though, we all like to ski (Oh duh!) or snow board and patrolling is a fun way to feed the need to ski. While the majority of our members have been with us for many years, we are always interested in bringing in new members. If you're interested, here is a brief synopsis of requirements and benefits.
REQUIREMENTS / BENEFITS / PERKS To get more information contact our Patrol Director Eric Conrad econrad@teal.csn.net
